All it really say is that people under 30 feel that the government is at best is ignoring their needs or at worst actively subverting their needs. This reads like some just who just found out what NWA lyrics were.

Absolutely vote Democrat, but we can do that while voicing criticism of the Democrats failing to make sufficient adaptations to important issues. Admittedly that’s more important during primary time, but being critical while still intending to vote Democrat can be a useful way to continue to push the Democratic candidate in more progressive directions beyond the primaries.
So yes, vote Democrat this November and absolutely do not vote Trump or third party. But that doesn’t mean that every criticism of the GOP Lite ™️ is foreign propaganda or in bad faith. Let’s be careful without falling into a siege mentality like the right.
People here jump down the throat of anyone who criticizes Biden, and ar blown away that people are disinterested in voting for him. Young voters are unlikely to vote at the best of times, let alone for a ancient conservative liberal who is actively supporting a genocide.
Telling people “Trump will be even worse” isn’t a way to get them to vote for Biden, it makes them less likely to vote at all. People need to be criticizing the Democrats so that they will make actual changes that make people want to vote. No one is “undecided” on if they want to vote for Biden or Trump, they are undecided if they want to vote at all
I sadly don’t think so. I wish you guys had a better voting system because the two party system leads to situations like this. But sadly I can imagine that the recent strong criticism of Biden in left spaces could lead to Trump winning. After all, why vote for the person that’s constantly shat on?
OK, what’s the authoritarian connection? Yep democrats aren’t great. They can be corrupt. They won’t close their own insider trading loophole. Some states with effectively no Republicans have single party corruption.

I’m comparing an authoritarian center right party to an authoritarian far right party. It’s not shit, it’s accurate, and hand waving horrible laws like the patriot act with “all countries are authoritarian to some degree” is how you end up with more legislation just like it. The Democrats aren’t going to save you. They’re just going to take the back roads on the way to fuck you.
The Democrats are the only chance we have to change the system without violence. They are actually receptive to things like ranked choice voting and independent redistricting. If the Republicans have their way with this country, the only way out is with millions dead in a revolution.
