I don’t quite get the relevency of your question if your issue is with all cops be bad. I mean yes. Chinese and russian cops would be some of the worst examples. Thats not going to lend credence against the statement. I would think something along the lines about naming a cop who has done something heoric recently in the news and asking if they are bad. I realize this is sorta meta but it sounds like you hate the statement with the thread convo but then the question you originally posed does not really challenge the statement.
There is a very high chance that this kind of calls to ACAB are coming from lemmy people, who have been spoonfed the tankies ideology for some time now, specially if it’s a very fresh account. We are a new territory to take for them.

I’ve seen cops doing most of the shit you’ve seen American cops do on the internet, in real life, in Europe. Haven’t seen any shoot out but that’s because they don’t need to, no one here has a gun. But recording cops is illegal over here, in other places you only can record them if they are engaging you and you can’t share the clip. The situation may be a bit worse over there because with so many guns perhaps the cops are more wary, but you see so many videos because their freedom of speech is more protected than ours.

Many times they abuse their power and the working people are fucking tired of it.
I agree with much of what you say. I just think it’s purile to claim that anyone, anywhere in the world who takes a job enforcing laws society has enacted is automatically a bastard.
Most importantly, it shuts down discussion about what a good police service looks like and how police services should be reformed or built from the ground up, because it says that just, effective law enforcement is inherently impossible because ‘all cops are bastards’
