edit: appears to be fixed with a recent update!

If I use the right-arrow reply button next to the vote buttons at the bottom of the comment, it opens a reply to the main post instead.

If I use the “Reply” option under the three dot button, it opens a reply to the comment as expected.

I’ll try to get this on github at some point.

edit: observed on iOS 16.7.2, iPhone SE (latest model)

          No problem mate! The software developer in me just wants to be nice to the Memmy developer wondering what system, OS, device the bug is reproducible on.

      just kidding I was on the old app at the time and the new one won’t even show me all the comments in this post, nor any new posts in the Memmy community. This was not ready for release ☹️

      edit 2: the app but also none of my web instances are showing new posts at !memmy@lemmy.ml BUT the comments on this post are still not loading. I can only see this comment through my own account page. Load more comments only shows 3 out of the 9 total and I confirmed nobody in this thread is on my block list so no clue why the comments are not showing. iOS 17.1 on iPhone 15 if the devs manage to see this.
