      Likely directly purchased platinum stays on the platform you bought it on.

      Platinum gained from players due to trading likely transfers between platforms.

      This is how most cross progress games handle in-game currency.

        This seems unlikely to me.

        There was already a statement by Reb in stream that cross-trade would never happen.

        The economies between the different platforms are too different. Any ability to move any resource at all between them would cause economic havoc.

            Probably, yes. Though I’d imagine they just won’t show you “foreign” plat on a given system. given the specific profit-sharing agreements with the closed platforms it’s impressive enough that DE have secured a deal that allows creation of paid assets without compensation on closed platforms, porting of currency is just so far out-there, the likelihood of it ever happening is negligible.
