Funny on this one the show is wayyy better than the book. I read the book first and it had an interesting idea but was very disappointing. The show branched off from the book pretty quickly and was right to do so. There were a few plots and characters from the book that went nowhere and were still in the show…hoped they would get fleshed out in the show but they were not. I wish I hadn’t read the book and could have experienced the show with a full open mind
The Leftovers. I’d been sleeping on it for years and finally watched it this year. The best ending to anything I’ve ever seen.
