    The entire store of the Salton Sea is Sad. To sum up, the Colorado River was once accidentally diverted from its current path to the area now know as the Salton sea as it was the lowest point. During the 1960’s it was a resort town with many people moving there. Then the pesticide and fertilizer entered the sea, killed all the fish, and began to release bad smells. Surprised those smell were toxic chemicals that led to the highest rate of asthma in the state with the most asthma
