There is no longer any pretence. Israel is no longer dancing around the idea of two states. It isn't going to happen - that is their policy.

    Israel is the middle eastern equivalent of Trump’s “I could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave” statement.
    The US is so wrapped around their finger our “middle east policy” is simply “don’t let Israel fall”
