Continuing from my last post here I opened my magazine on kbin instead of blahaj.zone but now I realise I never had the option to lock it so that only I could post to it like I did on blahaj, is that something I can do or is that what I’ll have to sacrifice to have my preferred UI? In which case I’m really torn.

This is my first experience with any sort of modding so bare with me lol

As long as you make it clear that the magazine you’re moderating is for your own posts, I don’t see any problem with restricting content to your own. If anyone has a problem with it, they can make their own magazine. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

      Hey, thanks for replying!
I have put it in the rules, and hopefully people will respect that, but when I’d briefly tried running the magazine/collection on blahaj, there was an actual toggle to stop anyone but mods from posting and I was wondering if such a thing does/could exist on kbin too, because it would be really helpful!

This isn’t the same thing as you mentioned, but when these changes go live you could manage your magazine more effectively for the time being. I did a little skimming and didn’t see anything like your request being mentioned here. It’s possible I missed it, but you are free to make the suggestion yourself. If that sounds like too much, I may do that for you some time later, as I also think that would be an interesting and useful feature to have.

That’s some great info, thanks for looking in to it for me! And I had no idea I could make requests!
I feel like the kind folks running kbin have enough to deal with (and I don’t have the IT knowledge to know how much work something like that will take), so I feel bad adding to their list, but if it’s an idea others would like too maybe it’s worth mentioning!
