      No. Definitely tastier. At least the fruit part. There is a different part that is more fleshy that is less tasty. It’s used as a pulled pork substitute in vegan dishes.

          Maybe I haven’t found a good recipe yet. I’ve used canned jackfruit and it just tastes like heartburn and bile. The ripe stuff is good tho…

        It tastes like very overripe pineapple to me. Maybe I didn’t get it at the correct ripeness or something.

          Yea and there are several varieties too, some don’t get goopy at all, they stay firm. I personally love the goopies though

        Controversial statement that jackfruit is tastier than durian :D. I guess I haven’t found the good tasting part of jackfruit yet.

        Doesn’t durian smell like shit but taste great? Or is that just propaganda to fool tourists into trying it? (I haven’t had the pleasure…)

      No, durians have big spikes. Between the spikes and the smell, durians shout not to be eaten, but do we listen?
