Enterprises including KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, SAP, Porsche, Lowe’s, and EnBW have publicly confirmed using Apple Vision Pro with custom visionOS software.

This just seems like good news for VR as an industry.

I could make a more convincing case for the Quest 3 given that it can do everything that matters that the Vision can do just with not quite as good passthrough quality and slightly lower resolution; but it’s serviceable and the price makes it a good productivity thing if you need to do a lot of multitasking. Infinite screen space for the price of $500; for basic office work it would be cheaper using those than a typical PC. And you can use a tracked keyboard if the passthrough isn’t good enough for you (IMO it’s the bare minimum needed to see the keys currently).

Also the fact there’s actually software for it. The hardware doesn’t mean much if there’s nothing to run on it, and from what I’ve seen the Vision Pro’s software offering is weak AF because they wanna do their own shit instead of just being part of the already existing ecosystem.
