2·9 months ago- is slightly incorrect. You are right they are not meant to be filled. We always called them evergreen rolls. We didn’t have a specific role in mind but we left reqs open to keep a flow of resumes to make sure we were not missing a top talent candidate that might be available and we don’t want to miss out due to timing of filling roles.
