  • A qualified professional should have asked if he had strata approval as it is common to summit the plans for approval before beginning work. The town house I last lived in allowed centra air units but because they would essentially always end up RIGHT BELOW the bedroom windows of the adjacent unit they had restrictions on placement and the noise rating of the units.

This is fairly reasonable as some of the compressor units can be very loud, can you imagine sleeping with your windows open and then some loud AC unit kicks in all night keeping you up because you live so close to the unit that just installed one.

    1. He needed approval before making holes in common exterior walls which are under the strata.
    2. The strata specifically prohibited air conditioners.

The corporation said the heat pump contravened a bylaw that requires owners to get approval from the strata before altering common property and another bylaw banning air conditioning devices.

I lived in a town house and added central air… I had to summit the install plan from the installer and the noise db rating of the unit I was installing for approval. It was approved then I proceeded.

Sorry in this case the owner screwed up TWICE.

    1. Book a swap in the app
    2. arrive in the lineup.
    3. serves one car at a time like an oil change
    4. the station has to constantly be charging the used batteries.

    Or

Install 4-6 high speed chargers in the same spot and clear more cars faster .

Essentially the swap station is only better if you arrive without a lineup. The swap takes 7-10min and is manned. If you are one or two cars deep waiting you are better to have just found a charger

There’s a lot more vendor lock in than there has been in the past. I don’t see there being a major change without legislation

LOL no… ActiveX on IE was the ultimate lock in, and that is gone now… Also we have A LOT of chromium based clones that don’t have these restrictions… It will still be a popularity contest.

Firefox however is limited by its in ability / unwillingness to license or implement some DRM features / Codecs which kind of sucks.

  • I am somewhat neutral on her, when she was introduced I kind of felt she was a gender swapped bones to setup the bones / spock dynamic but with data.

Sadly the only thing I remember her for is being mean to data, getting rapidly aged, and replacing Picard’s heart, that is 3 out of 22 episodes she is credited in.

For me Crusher vs Pulaski somewhat comes down to bedside manner/ compassion. Pulaski just comes across as a bit blunt and prickly at times and Pulaski just has fewer memorable episodes due to only having the one season.
