I have an external 2gb hard drive and I use it to play some ps4 games and stock the data from the ps5 games I ain’t using right now.

Games are so big nowadays and you have to download so much data that it’s almost necessary to at least have an external drive.

I have a 2018 Seat Leon Cupra ST 300, so basically a cheaper Golf VII R estate.

Previously I had an Audi S4 b6.

These newer cars are probably both great cars, but they are clearly not the same despite sharing a lot of parts.

The Golf is fake 4 wheel drive (a front wheel drive car most of the time) while the S4 isn’t.

You also clearly don’t need the same budget to keep them running as the Audi is gonna be way more expensive to run while being a bit more grown up in its attitude too.

Quality wise, I have nothing to complain about my Cupra after around 60000 kilometers.

I don’t like Apple but I’m forced to admit that the iPhone my employer is forcing me to use and my wife’s 2012 MacBook Pro are good machines.

The MacBook runs Linux like a charm and is making me consider old MacBooks for my next Linux laptop.

I’m also looking forward to testing iOS 18.

A while ago there was an article about how Apple is destroying a lot of its phones (old generation) instead of selling them at a low price.

It was also explained that in the facility where it was done a lot of phones were disappearing because employees were stealing them to use them.

So I don’t know if they’re so good about recycling ♻️.

Yeah I know but honestly it looks really complicated for someone who’s not at ease with terminal. Just finding the instruction to install it on Fedora (so no sudo apt install) is difficult, so I’m scared to do anything wrong, especially with important data.

So now I’m still using a Windows 10 virtual machine even if it’s awfully slow on my not powerful computer…

I’m looking forward to iOS 18 as I have to run an iPhone for work.

From what I understand, this update is gonna bring a lot of things iOS was lacking in terms of personalization.

Now I would really want them to improve on how things are handled outside of their walled garden as I’ll never buy a new mac (maybe an old one to run Linux) and they’re never gonna convince me with their old tricks of keeping special features between Apple devices.

We need a Linux version or equivalent to iTunes to backup your phone, better interoperability with Windows/Linux…

The iPhone is a great product but I feel like the walled garden is preventing me from fully enjoying it.

Please don’t give them the idea to give up on blurays or physical media.

Full HD is already perfectly fine for most people, so I can’t even imagine how great a bluray in 4k is.

I’m still watching DVD’s and, as long as the movie is great, it’s perfectly enjoyable.

Most people are watching Netflix which is apparently not giving you real full HD or 4k and people are not bothered.

Innovation is great, but having a new format would create the need to have new equipment and create even more e-waste when we can’t manage it already.

I hate the fact that Netflix is getting more and more expensive, but I still think it’s a really good deal.

There are a lot of shows and interesting movies and I hope it stays that way.

If I had to buy everything I watch on netflix, it would end up being more expensive (4-5 movies a month, 2 tv shows simultaneously).

I still buy blu-rays for my favorite movies even if I only watch them every 4-5 years.

Maybe one day Netflix is gonna end up being more expensive than just buying, but it ain’t the case for now.

And about the redesign, it’s difficult to judge without trying it first, but I ain’t a fan of the bigger thumbnails.

Loved the movie and never tried the original game, but I would be tempted by this one on PlayStation 5.

Still my backlog is already long enough.

That game was really a masterpiece! I enjoyed every part of it!

I’m really looking forward to the next Quantic Dream game, as they never disappoint even if Beyond Two Souls was inferior to their other games.

When I read this, I’m glad I ain’t using windows anymore.

If it was turned off by default, it would be different as people would be consciously choosing. But turned on by default should be illegal.

As some people are saying, a lot of this isn’t gonna be legal in some countries.

On PlayStation it ain’t a nuisance because the psn account is valid for every game, but on pc I agree with you.

Yeah PSN not being available everywhere is weird and not good for their sales then.

I guess every PlayStation game on pc is kind of belonging to the PlayStation universe and that’s why it’s an excuse to demand a psn account.

I’m addicted to trophies so I don’t mind the psn account.

I guess people who don’t want to get a psn account should just not play these games and not pirate them as some people are suggesting.

Everyone is gonna get mad at the Xbox holding back some games, but I also see the advantages of games being held back, because then a game has to seduce you with its story and gameplay instead of just proposing incredible graphics.

I love beautiful games, but when you see how much it costs to produce a game nowadays, I think the increase in the development costs has to be slowed down.

I’m honestly asking why people are so furious about the psn account. Is it because you don’t want to give your data to Sony?

I’d clearly understand with something like facebook or google, but I don’t think giving my data to Sony is the end of the world.

I’m not a pc gamer and I wouldn’t want to have every company pushing for their own account, but I don’t see why Sony is getting so criticized when (I think) Ubisoft or Electronic Arts have been doing this for years on PC.
