Hm, is it possible the community was already kicked by the instance? I don’t find it.
Tl;dr:
The Therac-25, a radiation therapy machine produced by Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL), was implicated in six accidents between 1985 and 1987 where patients received massive radiation overdoses due to software errors.
I very much like your taste 🤤👍
Fair enough, but finding meaning in life is not the same as finding purpose, no?
I guess because there are a lot of people who just don’t care. Look at Twitter, Musk could do what he wants Twitter still has a big number of users.
Also reddit has a huge and very active community. This is very hard to replace.
Very cute
Hey, someone needs to deliver content… it’s not like I have anything original to offer 🙃
It’s not just you… 🙈
But are you disappointed? 😉
You worded it perfectly 🙈
Jup 🙃 sorry maybe I chose the wrong community
For Lemmy there is jerboa (android) which is quite nice and Mlem for iOS.
That’s exactly one of those things!
Good question. But I guess only the beehaw admins know the answer to that. But from my understanding so far they would only silence you if you actively spread negativity - but I might be wrong.
that’s good to hear 😉
tl;dr created by smmry.com, the original was reduced by 66%:
RFK Jr. ranks higher in favorability than other major 2024 candidates: poll Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an anti-vaccine activist and environmental lawyer who is running for the Democratic nomination for president, has a higher favorability rating than many of the other 2024 presidential candidates, according to a new poll.
The poll from The Economist and YouGov released Wednesday showed Kennedy was viewed favorably by 49 percent of respondents, giving him the highest net favorability rating of 19 points.
Biden had a minus-9 net favorability rating, while Trump had a minus-10 net favorability rating.
Looks very yummy :)
How long did it take you? And would you say it’s feasible to make for a complete nooby?
Ah got it, ok sorry I misunderstood you. But yes, this sounds believable. As I understand they have a very clear vision what is wrong with social media and believe that only very strict moderation can fix these problems. If this is right or wrong I cannot really say…
I’m also new here so I cannot really answer your question. But are you saying Beehaw leans far right? Because I thought they wanted to foster a very welcoming and supportive environment (even disabling downvotes) and I thought they even blocked some instances which are too right for them?
Sorry but that’s not true at all. Lemmy’s UI feels very unfinished/amateur project like. Even the jerboa app, which is from one of the dev, improves the mobile UI experience greatly compared to just the web version.
For Mobile users buttons should usually be bigger. But e.g. the comment collapse button is very tiny and I need to concentrate to press it correctly on mobile.
