I think Mickey just serves as a stand-in for Disney in general

The landlord doesn’t do all repairs themselves, they pay someone to do repairs. Most regular maintenance of the property is the responsibility of the tenant. That’s why people treat investment properties as passive income, because effectively they are.
Those with college education and who are politically active tend to lean towards the left, it’s good to remember that. A lot of people, especially right-leaning people, have no fucking idea what policies they’re actually voting for and operate purely off vibes and buzzwords.
These people think that everyone in government is a secret pedo rapist, I’m sure having someone flaunt their immorality feels comparatively more moral. The problem obviously being that not everyone is govt is actually a pedo rapist lmao.
I feel like it has to be the second thing, but not everyone has those religious experiences, and even the religious don’t always correlate these things to God. It just requires so many layers of weird assumption that I really don’t know what to think.
Very few people voted for Trump based on his policy decisions. Most people just see him as a Washington outsider who speaks his mind and that’s where it starts and ends. They like him as a person.
That’s why they call it wage slavery
The answer to questions like these is always money.
The refusal of the religious right to acknowledge how material conditions affect humans is astounding and weird.
I feel like there’s a lot of these, where someone says “how do you explain [extremely basic, everyday thing] without [religion]?”, it’s kinda weird. Like being a certain level of religious makes you immune to all common sense.
Columbo vs anime characters is the best genre of murder mystery
Policy is what drives the climate crisis, and policy is primarily controlled by the rich and powerful, especially in countries like the US where corporate lobbying reigns supreme. You could argue that it’s ultimately capitalist incentives that create this paradigm, but I would say that those incentives are upheld by the same powerful individuals who benefit from them.
tl;dr, the climate crisis is caused by certain individuals.
It will inspire people to take more drastic action, and highlight the urgency of the cause in a way that targets those who are causing it. It’s also more likely to create sympathy, since the ones causing the problem are the ones being punished for it.
Do crimes
Also a good point, this isn’t to knock products like the Fairphone since they’re offering extremely long product support windows, which should drive down demand for new devices and reduce their carbon footprint.
I’ve seen so many youtube videos from conservatives where they literally just listen to someone saying what their minor/emphasis was and saying “wow, it’s so stupid that’s even offered, that’s completely useless”. The comments tend to be more unhinged, I frequently see “these universities should lose their accreditation”, “it should be illegal to offer these”, etc. Usually it’s something extremely basic, like the impact of colonialism on X, or something to do with intersectionality. Like, these aren’t even their majors, they’re just a component of their degrees that they can freely choose. I feel like many conservatives are just against any new ideas regardless of their validity.
Never used it, might check that one out after
It’s the best replacement for Google keyboard I’ve tried by a wide mile. I like the gestures it has by comparison, they allow finer control. It’s also very stylish. I’ll probably use it for a long while.
People will use this to galvanize efforts against climate action, and it will work. If you want to seriously do something, go after the people causing the crisis.
If you can confidently say that your work interactions are “high quality” then I envy you lol. Work people and real people are two different sets of people to me.
