Number 2 is a great point. That’s what I hate about LinkedIn and why I only use it to look/apply for jobs and occasionally scroll through if I’m super bored.

My experience in my current job are endless cold emails from salespeople who don’t even understand that I have no use for their product. I work in a field where I have to research a lot of different equipment/parts for my client, but that I don’t use myself. I had to request a catalog from one of these places which involved giving my work email address. Now I get endless emails about how they’ll ‘be in my area’ (LOL no you won’t because I work remotely across the country from both my company and my client) and they want to demonstrate their new product…which I don’t use because I don’t work in that field. Makes me laugh every time and yes it is very spammy.

So I played it for a while several years ago and kinda got bored with it. I got to the bottom of the mine and had married one of the characters, and my farm (such as it was) was mostly automated so not much to do there. I know there are a bunch of story moments but I got tired of wandering around randomly trying to meet the conditions to trigger them. I wanted it to happen organically without looking it up. I just felt like I ran out of things to do and there was no point to keep playing.

At the same time, I want to play it on my Steam Deck because I did enjoy what I did play!

After watching it completely through within the last few years, I can say I rank it higher than Voyager.

I also heard by the socks. Millennials do no-show, but apparently high socks are the style now? Those will never not look super dorky to me, so I guess I’m old now.

That’s what I thought too, and then I got sucked in. I watched it a few weeks ago, I usually love her Star Wars stuff but this felt too long…nope.

Hmmm I think my expectations were set incorrectly for this show. From the rumblings I heard before the premiere, it was on a similair level as Andor and was kind of a murder mystery thing. It is nothing like Andor (so far) and the murder ‘mystery’ was solved (at least for the viewers) at the end of the first episode. I was excited about the possibility of ‘Law & Order in space with Jedi’ since it seemed like a fresh genre for Star Wars but this…is more like ‘generic Star Wars plot line #45’. I plan to keep watching because the High Republic era is interesting, but the story has been bleh so far for me.

Also weird that Carrie-Anne Moss figured so prominently in the hype & advertising just to be killed off in the first few minutes. If I was excited that she was in the show (I was ambivalent towards it myself) I would be super mad about that.

I’m afraid Andor has ruined me when it comes to Star Wars media. :-/

We just toss and shape the dough then put it directly onto our gas grill at medium heat. When the top gets air bubbles the bottom will be nice and done. Flip it over and start putting sauce and cheese on the cooked side. Once the ‘new’ bottom is cooked, take it off and put it in a pre-heated oven to either keep it warm or finish it (we like to broil it to get the cheese perfect).

We make the dough in our bread maker and then cook it on the grill, it’s fantastic.

So am I hallucinating that a few months ago when he was removed the Internet loved him? I feel like that consensus turned quick.

Yeah I tried Honkai Star Rail after seeing it pushed everywhere and I bounced off it hard. I guess my brain is just broken in different ways lol.
