I live in Norway, thanks for the tips though!
Thanks for the write up! 🙌
I will likely go for either option 1 or 3. I need to reevaluate wether cable is possible or not. If not then I’ll go with a mesh. Only “problem” with mesh is that I really wanted to buy into the unifi ecosystem, but their mesh stuff is above my budget. Bit maybe I could just get the unifi express and pair that with another branded mesh system? The place is only 85 square metres, but on two floors. My office is ofcourse furthest away from where the modem comes into the house. Anyway, I will need to evaluate again when I’m there to see if it’s possible or not to run cables. Thanks again for detailed response 💛
You’re probably right, I need to look again at running cables. But it is on separate floors too. Have not moved in yet, so will have to evaluate again when I move in. Thanks for the tips.
A set of four what? I’m sorry, not quite following.
Didn’t know this was an option even, will defo look into this asap and evaluate wether this fits my use case or not, thanks!
Norway. It works, but I dont have a networking card anyways and much prefer having things wired if possible.
Hey that’s all good dude, don’t knock yourself down for it. I also used to ask questions before looking around as it felt easier at the time. Fortunately Bazzite actually has some really nice and well documented pages, not always super intuitive to find them, but they are there. Feel free to ask about more if u have further questions 😊
In terms of installing and managing apps in Bazzite there is an official guide for this, https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/installing-and-managing-software-on-bazzite/35.
It’s best not to “layer” packages as you described with ‘sudo rpm-ostree’, as that will add to the reboot time of the PC. At least as far as I know. Anyway, there are a couple of different ways of installing packages, best explained in the link attached.
It was more of a figure of speech and trying to be nice and show appreciation towards this wonderful craftmanship. Why be such a downer?
Wow, really appreciate the offer. But the cost of shipping and import to my country would be very substantial sadly. Thanks a lot anyways!
Actually, the more I look at it the more I agree with you. Thanks for trying out the different variants. I really dig this logo 💚💛
Would also be interesting too see a version of this the other way around. E.g. The plant bit switching position with the gear bit. But thinking about it - it might not make as much sense as plants usually grow upwards(?)
I personally prefer the S, but all of these are great really. Considering it’s so close to being an S I feel like a lot of people are going to notice that too, but I might be wrong. It was also discussed a little previously: https://slrpnk.net/post/9709041
This is great! Although why not flip the letter so that it actually becomes an S?
Wow this is amazing!! I would easily order one if they were available for sale 🙌
It seems to have removed itself for me by now. While it can be easily removed I’m more concerned about the possible marketing strategies from Proton.
Wow this did solve my issue actually, thanks :)
Thanks Ill try this, do you have this to auto-start when the PC boots too?
Woah I wish I had the same knowledge you do about networking haha! Taking notes here that’s for sure, thanks for the input!
