Lemmy’s version of NSQ also prohibits replies that are mean or mocking the OP. We encourage asking any question that doesn’t break the rules.
Hi there. Hope you’re enjoying NSQ. Rule 1 in the sidebar states that every post must have a question in the title. It makes it easier for people to browse the community. Will you edit your post to follow the rue? Thanks for posting!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have updated rule 4. Posts that mention suicide are now allowed with proper flags and warnings so people who may feel triggered can avoid them.
I feel the same. I can see why other people would buy it, but I’m not on a contract so I need the price on the foldables to come down to a reasonable point before I would bite. The upside to that is that while I’m waiting for it to happen, they are also working out the kinks and I can make an informed decision on which model is worth the money I’ll have to pay for it.
I’m not sure what the benefits would be there, either. The small form factor may be nice for people who have to carry it in their pocket, but I’m not sure if it would be worth it for me personally. It seems cell phones are always either trending ever larger or smaller, and this particular lineup sort of covers both angles.
I also wait until the bugs get worked out. That’s why I haven’t tried a foldable yet-I’m still keeping an eye on the new versions to see which one seems to be what I’m looking for.
The Android community at Lemmy.world welcomes questions of all sorts.
Users are free to talk about China in posts that are about China.

Hi there. Hope you’re enjoying NSQ. Will you please reword your post title so that it asks your question? It’s rule 1 in the sidebar. Thanks for posting.
I’m glad this was posted here. It’s really encouraging to me that the younger men in my life seem pretty self-aware and willing to talk about mental health. While my young son (18) didn’t reach out to me to ask about an increase in his usually mild depression/anxiety and whether he should start medication, his brothers did. He was back to normal pretty quickly. Men and boys need to advocate for each other wherever they can.
Unfortunately, this post as it is currently formatted breaks rules 1 and 2 in our sidebar so I will have to remove it. This type of post is more appropriate in a community like Today I Learned, which is not focused on tips and tricks to make your life easier.
That is a concern, and we do occasionally remove posts that are clearly not factual.
Thanks! I looked at our recent posts and I do see that those with source links tend to be more upvoted and spark more discussion, but I don’t think the community is busy enough to make it a rule just yet. I am happy to note in the sidebar that citing sources is likely to help your post become more popular, though.
No problem. Thanks for fixing it.

If we are advertising Lemmy or the Fediverse, we want to do it in a way that shows we are (on the whole) less toxic than the Reddit spaces we left behind. Some Reddit users may see the “fuck Spez” as a glowing endorsement of Lemmy but others who are looking for a place to discuss things in a more civilized way may not. Those who are likely to both seek out and remain on Lemmy.world once they find us are also likely to fall in the second group, so it’s best to be careful.
Our rules prohibit intentionally annoying, mocking, or harassing other members. Please find a way to make your point without name-calling.
