I don’t think you can correlate the number of readers to the number of book instances or whatever they’re called. Most people (myself included) probably just use Goodreads, and BookWyrm is probably a good enough alternative that there’s no need to spin up another.

I hate them too but unfortunately the vast majority of schools require them. It pisses me off how much time and energy is spent enforcing meaningless rules.

Na, they can definitely look worse! I had one on the other day that I didn’t iron and by the end of the day it still looked terrible, more so than if it had originally been ironed.

People get really weird about this, they act like you MUST cycle and train it everywhere and anything is just an excuse.

I like the idea, but sometimes it’s nice to have a community that’s UK focused. Something that I see on r/ukparenting is that posting / commenting on the more global parenting subreddits can be quite unwelcoming due to cultural differences in the way different countries do things, and they tend to be dominated by US users.

Obviously, everyone is welcome here! But it will have more of a UK bias due to the instance this community is hosted on. Also, I think I prefer the name “dads” over the “fatherverse”, but that’s just my opinion :)
