The problem is that’s basically what billionaires do, though. They take out loans with their shares as collateral. So on paper they have huge debt, but it’s minuscule compared to their wealth.

But capital gains only execute when you sell.

How does that work when the super rich don’t pay any taxes to begin with? How do you tax wealth? How do you tax loans against shares?

My 5mo is having a really hard time sleeping which means my partner and I haven’t really slept through the night in 5 months. It’s affected us psychologically. We keep hoping he’ll come through. Every once in a while he’ll go for 6 hours but it’s so inconsistent. The naps are a real point of stress, too.

Using unraid is nice because you can keep replacing drives with lawyer ones as you need, or adding new drives to the array. It’s very flexible that way, despite some of its shortcomings.
