How did you post on lemmy like that from mastodon? That’s cool.

I’m in the same boat. I want to like the game and it is fun, but I got stuck with some area with orbs and my save corrupted…one of the orbs just disappeared after 50+ hours and I can’t bring myself to play again and possibly have the same bug pop up. Maybe someday but it’s just such a big game.
I’m glad they show how to turn it off.
My favorite is the remote - location jobs. Almost none of them are actually remote, they just want more people to apply so their quota will be met.
What’s the easiest way to pop up a server? I tried yunohost but the lemmy code is very old now.
You can get much cheaper civics too if your willing to look.
I’d still like to get a dumb electric vehicle. Literally just replace a civic engine or something similar with a replaceable battery and I would love it.
GL. The best thing about the fediverse is the creation of new and exciting projects that will come and go.
Any good lists? Because pihole defaults to the aforementioned servers.
Would pihole work if all the major DNS that gets pulled resolved the same? I would imagine the change would only work for a while.
Is there such a thing as federated dns servers, self hosted or otherwise? I don’t particularly care about piracy but I can see this dominoing into abortion, lgtq+ ect…ect…
Some you can access via the Ethernet and change the settings. Got one of those units and then see if it has the option.
Here’s just one tutorial: https://linux-tips.com/t/disabling-ups-beep-under-linux/592
There are many others. Good in places where medical equipment keeps you alive and sleeping.
General UPS are great of medical/server devices too. You can get a generic one and then use software to disable the beep. It’s what they are used for. The batteries are even replaceable.
15 years for me. It’s pretty great.
Agreed.
I think that just starting with networking might be the way to go. I mean if someone wants to a market a fedi alternative, they would have a huge advantage on software developers, server hosters, and generally our small communities.
Yep its easier than ever to get into it and even works with games via steam now. My computer runs soo much faster than with windows.
Steam Deck and other Linux handhelds make it super easy to play indies.

Such a great series full of funny and gut punching moments.
The books are fun to read, but the audiobook blows it out of the water. https://soundbooththeater.com/series/dungeon-crawler-carl/
Yeah its really too bad. I used to love the company but now I just don’t see them making things for hobbies. Anyone know of some good alternatives? Ive heard good things about lepotato?
The closest I’ve got is an rss reader for lemmy. All fediverse posts (from what I understand) can be turned into an rss feed. Lemmy communities too. I wish they had multi communities but it is what it is.
