That’s not how bail bonds work. If you use a bail bondsman, you pay a non-refundable fee (10% of the bail amount) upfront.
If he had the money, he should have paid the full bail himself. That amount is fully refunded so long as he appears to court.
I think that’s correct…I’m not a bail bondsman and I’ve never used one, but I did watch Dog the Bounty Hunter once or thirty times
No problem! I have been testing all available lemmy apps for a couple months and mlem is up there with the best of the bunch, great work to you and the team! I do have a few feature requests - are those best made in the community here, in GitHub discussions, or elsewhere?
Avelon, Voyeger, and Lemmios have mark read on scroll as well.
Thanks for asking, I’d love to help! Here’s the video: https://drive.proton.me/urls/BB1V66QHW8#Q0Qu8p1Gv5xS
I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.6. This video is after I uninstalled the TestFlight version and installed the App Store version.
I’m on 1.0.1 on TestFlight and the scrolling is anything but smooth - in fact, I was just coming to the community to see if it’s a common complaint.
I’ll clear cache, uninstall and install App Store version and report back in this comment if that fixed it.
Edit: still happens with App Store version.
A few times a month with a Clorox wipe. Should honestly do that daily seeing as though I use it in the shitter. Also using it while in public, germy hands then touching the phone - yea, would probably be wise if I Clorox wiped it daily. Oh well!
Devils advocate, why built more nuclear plants when you could build more renewables? If it’s a scaling issue, in that you need a ton more infrastructure for renewables, and need to supplement with nuclear, wouldn’t that then always be the case in the future? I hear nuclear is needed to bridge the gap often, but it always sounds like it’s temporary, which I don’t understand - seems like nuclear would be needed forever if renewables aren’t able to scale well?
Makes me wonder if the fediverse shouldn’t be individually instanced. Like Each persons phone/browser is their own individual “instance”. Maybe a central hub/series of hubs (like instances as they are now maybe) that act like dns servers to point everyone around. No content is hosted on them, they just tell everyone’s apps where to look to the other apps for posts.
I have no idea, I’m a moron and I don’t know how the internet actually works. I’m guessing this is a problem at scale.
Absolutely killing it with this app!
Would love the option to hide the account name on that button (Apollo feature).
This logic is a bit like having a young child die and saying “well her parents don’t have to pay for college now.”
Like…what the fuck man.
Bean is so smooth and clean! Well done!
My first 2 pieces of feedback are things I’m sure you already know - I couldn’t reply to this comment in bean, and when I click your community link it opens an in-app browser rather than taking me to your community.
If you mean the gold guy on the horse when you first start, don’t fight him (yet). You can avoid him.
If you mean the first actual boss in the castle, you can get help from an npc or other players by using an item to see their “signs” on the ground and inviting them to your game.
Xbox exclusivity.
Congrats on the release!
Same, i didn’t realize how much muscle memory I had engrained from Apollo, I swipe right to left at least 3 times a day to try and return to a thread 😖
Memmy so far, it’s got most of the features you’d want, even different themes. The others are all very good, too, though, including wefwef PWA which mimicks Apollo very closely.
I use them all throughout the day, but use Memmy the most right meow.
Well yea, that’s not a knock against Mast, that’s a preference for a type of social media. Mast is the Twitter equivalent; if you don’t like Mast, you would t like Twitter (or vice versa as it were).
