Boston Avenue Methodist Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. One of the few examples of Art Deco religious architecture in the world. It’s unique and quite impressive to see in person. I don’t know if they still do but they used to offer tours of the building on Sunday afternoons.

    Art Deco religious architecture never crossed my mind before but this is pretty awesome. I’m off to look for brutalist religious architecture 😅

      Lord, please tell me no one’s done that. The Department of Mental Health building here in Boston is brutalist and it’s like the worst unintentional joke

      There’s tons of examples of brutlist churches.

      Art deco churches are something I didn’t know I needed in my life.
