You do you, I’m a white man with a good job that owns a house and I’m still trying to improve things for those who aren’t as privileged instead of thinking about myself and voting for lower taxes and less services for those in needs, maybe you should do the same.
Pretty much anything would be better than what we have, in the meantime we need to vote strategically or we end up with the Conservatives which just makes things even worse.
And we’re spending fortunes on it (and other historical monuments) while people are starving and ecosystems are being destroyed. Good priorities right?
What I see is 5k NDP and Greens voters who would rather see a conservative MP having the seat than make sure it’s someone fairly progressive in place.
Oh and enough people that voted for fake independents to make a point in favor of electoral reform to make a party that has always been against electoral reform take the seat.

So? Even going one day to the office is enough to make some people feel stressed out and depressed. I’m not even talking about people who need specific accommodations that they have at home but aren’t provided to them at the office.

The waste is if it’s truly decentralized then everyone needs to be able to provide enough for their individual peak while a centralized system can be made to handle the highest peak of the day for many households while also providing enough for people whose peak is at different hours.
From a material requirement perspective being able to provide just what we need and not more is the most efficient. Batteries are great, the material required to make them still has a huge environmental impact and isn’t unlimited.

I think you underestimate the quantity of people that don’t feel good about having to show up to work in person or take part in meetings or have to deal with in person social interactions.
Heck, in the grand scheme of things it’s more unusual to have to interact with tens of people you didn’t choose to interact with because your employer said so.
